Beautiful, isn't it? Here you're safe from all of those nasty wolves...At least most of them.

Cloud jogged through the trees, a relaxed look on her face. She was content, there was plentiful prey here and enough light to see it all. The white and gray wolf was heading for her den, the left over hole of where a tree had fallen. The roots had been ripped out and had left a fairly large indent in the side of a hill, enough for her to slip into, sit, and lay down. Over time grass had started to grow over it, so it was partially hidden, and had a curtain when she felt like ignoring somebody. It often helped a lot.

Sunlight saw Cloud jogging through the trees and went towards her. She didn't run, but she didn't move to slow. She noticed that Cloud was heading towards her den. She was far enough away, so she began to back away. She figured that Cloud wanted to be alone if she was in her den.

Cloud's ears perked up and she lifts her nose to the sky, sniffing experimentaly at the air. Sunlight! She knew the scent of her friend! Blue eyes quickly start searching around, until they see the orangeish brown and white splotch of color through the trees. "Hello Sunlight!" A happy wag of her tail let her friend know she was in a semi-good mood.

Sunlight saw Cloud's happy appearence and immidiately walked towards her again,"Hello to you too, Cloud."she also gave her tail a wag. She offered a small smile to the white and grey wolf.

"New home, exciting, hm? Have you seen any other wolves yet?" Cloud was nonetheless glad her friend had finally met up with her. They hadn't seen each other too much the past year or so, with Sunlight being busy with other packs, and Cloud being busy with doing nothing but collecting dust.

Sunlight nodded,"Yeah. It's nice here. Plenty of space, only problem is that on the trip here I got into a fight, my opponent found just the right spot to leave me permanantly limping. Progress in moving has been little since then."her tail ceased it's wagging and she streached out her front legs before her tail began wagging again,"But besides you I haven't seen any wolves. Maybe one or two."

Cloud tilted her head at the words. Someone had given her friend a limp? Her eyes narrow slightly and her relaxed stance goes just a bit tense, from annoyance of course. "Who were they? A wolf or a dog?" The important questions of course, she needed to know incase they ever showed up again.

"It was a male gray wolf."The orange-brown wolf said simply,"I think his name was Oscar. That might have been what the other wolves had said..."she relaxed her form and sat down, curling her tail around her paws.

Cloud rolls the name over in her head. Oscar? Well isn't that a fierce name. Of course, she shouldn't be talking with a name like Cloud...but at least she had a fierce enough personality. "Other wolves? Did he have a pack or something?" She figured wolves might start to form packs here, so it wasn't too much of a surprise.

Sunlight's tail froze as she tried to remember. Finally she just said,"No. His brother and his mate."Sunlight said simply. She wondered what other questions Cloud might have about this guy. Her tail went back to it's catlike flicking after her thoughts moved on.
